Het Compagnietheater in Amsterdam, oorspronkelijk de Hersteld Evangelisch-Lutherse Kerk uit 1793, wordt getransformeerd tot luxe kantoorruimtes. Historische elementen, zoals gerestaureerde houten balken en sierlijsten, worden gecombineerd met moderne voorzieningen om een unieke werkervaring te creëren. Dankzij de Energie-investeringsaftrek (EIA) wordt het gebouw op duurzame wijze gerenoveerd.

Optimal Location

DC Herkenbosch is strategically located right next to the N570 and close to the A73 highway, ensuring optimal logistical connections. The complex will cover a total area of 62,300 m², with 55,540 m² reserved for the warehouse, 3,098 m² for office space, and 3,703 m² for a mezzanine. Additionally, the complex will be equipped with 52 loading docks, significantly enhancing the efficiency of logistical operations.

Sustainability Initiatives

DC Herkenbosch is committed to sustainability with the goal of achieving a BREEAM Excellent certification. This certificate recognizes construction projects that excel in environmentally friendly building. To achieve this, various sustainable solutions will be implemented. These include solar panels, a water management system, charging facilities for electric cars and bicycles, and an 8-meter-high, 500-meter-long green noise barrier. The latter also contributes to biodiversity.

Subsidy Support

The Environmental Investment Allowance (MIA) subsidy application was handled by Van Draeckeburgh. If this fiscal subsidy is granted, it will confirm that the building meets the requirements of the BREEAM Excellent certification. This scheme provides financial support to enable these green innovations.
