Directly along the A35 in Almelo, Timberland’s impressive distribution center is being expanded with a high-rise warehouse of approximately 29,000 m² and an office space of 780 m². The expansion will be connected to the existing building via a pedestrian bridge and a transport bridge. The size and height make this a remarkable project.
Sustainability and Certification
The new building is being constructed with sustainability as a priority. By using sustainable materials and innovative technologies, the project contributes to a greener future. It aims for a GPR new construction score of 8.0, and the roof is prepared for the installation of solar panels.
The Environmental Investment Allowance (MIA) has been successfully applied for by Van Draeckeburgh. This tax incentive encourages entrepreneurs to realize sustainable buildings and implement environmentally friendly solutions.
