You can receive a subsidy for carrying out routine maintenance on your monument for a period of 6 years. This concerns necessary regular activities aimed at preserving the monumental values of a national monument. This may include painting, maintenance of window frames, roof, and drainage, as well as local woodwork repairs.
The subsidy is a contribution towards the costs of regular maintenance for your national monument. If your national monument was originally or is currently primarily designated for residential use, you cannot apply for subsidy under this scheme. However, local governments such as municipalities and provinces, as well as professional monument organizations, can apply for subsidy for their residential properties.
