Sustainable renovation of Twenterand Town Hall

The Twenterand Town Hall is undergoing a major renovation focused on sustainability. This renovation marks an important step toward a future-proof and welcoming building for both employees and visitors. With the help of the DUMAVA (Sustainable Social Real Estate) subsidy scheme, investments are being made in sustainability measures that improve energy efficiency.

Future-proof with GPR

The renovation is a sustainable project in which the building (or part of it) is renewed according to the GPR framework. This not only ensures a future-proof building but also significantly improves energy efficiency, perfectly aligning with the ambition of a green working environment. Work will begin in February 2025 and will be carried out in phases, allowing the building to remain accessible to the public. The completion of the renovated town hall is scheduled for the end of 2026.

Van Draeckeburgh contributed to the successful application for the DUMAVA subsidy. This scheme supports non-profit organizations with social real estate in implementing sustainable solutions.
