Covering an area of 44,700 square meters, Mediavaert is set to become one of the largest hybrid timber office buildings in the world. This project represents an unparalleled achievement in sustainability and technological innovation, setting a new standard for future construction initiatives. Mediavaert offers a healthy and inspiring working environment, with a strong focus on synergy between various users and functions.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Development<\/h2>\n\n<p>Bas van Dam of Being, the developer behind this ambitious project, emphasizes the unique nature of building with timber on this scale. The project highlights a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation, with the hope of inspiring others to push similar boundaries. <br\/><br\/>This project is the result of collaborations between DPG Media, Being, DGMR, DELVA Landscape Architecture &amp; Urbanism, BESIX, Arup, Thonik, Team V Architecture, BOAG\/Drees &amp; Sommer, and SkaaL.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subsidy Support<\/h2>\n\n<p>Van Draeckeburgh had the opportunity to apply for several EIAs (Energy Investment Allowances) for this innovative project.
